Revlon Colourburst Lipgloss: Bordeaux

Upward Over The Mountain by Iron & Wine on Grooveshark

Hello everyone!!!!!!! No matter how hard I try I never seem to blog as much as I would like!!! The past two weeks have been really busy I went home for  reading week and then I had to catch up on assignments that were due, so not fun. Over break I dragged my boyfriend to Zellers which is kindof like a Canadian Walmart, anyways all of the stores are closing and being switched over to Targets so they have massive clearance sales and I picked up some really nice things half off. The makeup section was a total disaster but I rummaged around and found this gorgeous Revlon Colourburst lipgloss which is generally about $10 so I got it for $5.

I am generally a strict pink/nude lipgloss or lipstick girl so I thought I would break out of my comfort zone and try this baby out. Its such a pretty deep burgundy colour and in person it has tiny gold sparkles in it although you cant really see those once it is applied. I really like the applicator since it is flat on both sides which made applying it easy, so good job Revlon!!

I have heard these lip glosses have good staying power but I haven't worn this for more than a couple of hours so I cant vouch for that yet. I think this would be a really good lip colour to wear out at night since its pretty dark for everyday use, so I will definitely wear it next time I go out. Overall I don't think I personally would pay over ten bucks for a lip gloss even if it is pretty. That just seems like alot to me but I am pretty cheap, if I see these on sale I would definitely buy some more in lighter colours. Also I dyed my hair a bit lighter which you can see in the below photo so I might do a post on the kit I used. I know I haven't been doing very many outfit posts but I just have not been motivated lately so hopefully since its getting warmer out I will start wearing something besides yoga pants to class!!! Have a great day everyone :).

Review: Hard Candy Glamoflage Concealer

I love It by Icona Pop on Grooveshark

Hard Candy Glamoflage Concealer: Walmart $6-7

I bought this concealer a few weeks ago and I really really wanted to do a review on it right away but I decided to wait a little while to see if it broke me out at all. This concealer is amazingggggggg, not gonna lie it has the best coverage of any concealer I have ever tried before. I haven't always been into makeup but I have had various concealers since I was twelve. Throughout the years I have tried countless of kinds and brands but this is definitely the best one I have found yet!!

You seriously only need a tiny amount of this concealer or you will get to much product. A small bit goes a long way which is hard to get used to at first. Generally I need a lot of concealer to cover dark circles or redness but a tiny bit of this does the trick.

Lightly blended out on my arm

This is definitely the thickest concealer I have ever used, so I don't use it by itself under my eyes. I often mix it with one of my other sheer concealers so its creamier and so I don't have to tug at the skin underneath my eyes as much, no one wants premature wrinkles!!! There are five different shades available and I got mine in ultra light. This is a little light for me when i put it on my face but it completely blends in once I put a powder over top. For the summer I will definitely have to purchase the light or light/medium shade once I get a little darker.  For the price, quantity and quality of the product I would definitely recommend it to anyone!! Have a great day everyone :).

Review: Wet N Wild Colour Icon Blushes

Chocolate by The 1975 on Grooveshark
 photo IMG_1593-001_zps460b04b7.jpg

Berry Shimmer (shimmery red tinged blush), Heather Silk (matte deep pink) and Mellow Wine (slight shimmer pink/brown)

First off I am going to start by saying these blushes are freaking amazing!!!! Before I bought these I had owned a few drugstore blushes from various companies; Maybelline, Covergirl, Essence etc and they were all pretty sub par. I have a Maybelline Fit Me blush and you can scrub your finger in it and still not get any colour pay off. But these Wet N Wild blushes are CRAZYYYY pigmented, you can lightly dab your brush in them and you will get so much on it!!. They are also super cheap, about three or four dollars at Wall-Mart so they are definitely worth your money for the quality of product you get. I can see these lasting forever as well, I often use Mellow Wine as my daily blush and you cant even see a dent in it. The only problem is these babies are pretty hard to find in stores but maybe thats just here in Canada. I got Mellow Wine and Heather Silk online from Beautyjoint when I placed a order about a month ago. I would highly recommend them to anyone if you see them definitely snap them up and you wont be disappointed!! Have a great day everyone :).

When It Gets Loud I Turn It Up

Sweater: Forever 21: $11, Leggings: Suzy Shier $10, Booties: Spring $31, Necklace: Forever 21 $6

Bahhhhh I am totally totally stuck in a style rut and I have this lacklustre outfit post to show for it. Not gonna lie this is like my comfy staple outfit for the winter, a longish sweater over leggings with some kindof boot, although I think this sweater shrunk a bit in the wash because it totally used to be longer. I think this outfit matches my mood today since I am just feeling tired and a bit lost. I am nearing the end of my first year at university and I just don't find any of my courses interesting or think they are job related to anything I would enjoy. Ugh need to figure out that stuff soon :(:(. Anyways I bought this sweater during the christmas break when Forever 21 had 50% off of there sale items so it was super cheap!!! I love these booties, although my boyfriend insists on calling them my robin hood shoes which makes me laugh and shake my head at him, boys... only a few actually get fashion!! They have a tiny little heel which I don't mind although I am 5'9 and don't feel like I need to much extra height. Other news I bought a new concealer which I am totally in love with so far so there will be a review up on that soon, I am waiting to see if it breaks me out of not before I blog about it. Have a great day everyone and thanks again for all of your lovely comments :).
