Crop Top: Forever 21 $5, Skirt: Forever 21 $19, Shoes: Payless $14, Purse: Thrift $4, Necklace: Smart Set $4

Hello everyone!!!!!!!! I cant believe it has been a month since i have posted and even longer since i did any outfit pictures. I have really missed blogging and haven't read any of my favorite blogs or my email in months (soooooooo sorry about that!!) i just got super busy lately. I am playing women's softball which is so fun although i hadn't played baseball in a few years so i was totally rusty when we started. Also i am doing two online courses which i am trying to finish up right now and they are seriously taking ages to complete. I am finally going to university next year so i went up to visit the school last week for a few days to look around and apartment hunt (super excited about having my own place!!) so my plans for September are almost all set which is very hard to believe. Other news i did have two jobs, i worked one day at a golf course (I am the barbecue girl lol) and then i waitressed at a restaurant in town. But yesterday the restaurant was shut down while i was at work by the owner of the building over a lease disagreement so i think i am now jobless...again!!!!! The whole thing is just terrible so everyone cross your fingers something gets worked out because i really loved the people i worked with and i seriously don't want to start looking for another job now, this is just my horrible luck. Sorry about my little rant there anyways i have gotten really addicted to shopping on the Forever 21 website, everything just looks so awesome and the sale section is amazing (cute stuff + super cheap prices = uh awesome!!) so i have sent in a few orders lately. I just love this skirt the colour is amazing, i am really into the high low hemlines at the moment. I found this necklace on sale for four dollars which was such a great bargain since it previously was eighteen. I wasn't to sold on the collar/bib necklaces until i saw a girl wear one on youtube so i was really happy to find this one. I got my little suede fringe purse at Value Village and to my friends amusement we found out it was actually a child's purse when we looked at the brand inside. They teased me about that a little but i still think it is super cute so  i bought it anyways. I totally didn't wear any eye makeup in these photos so if i look a little scarier than usual that is definitely my excuse :). Have a great day everyone!!

Summer Inspiration

On Top of the World by Imagine Dragons on Grooveshark Photobucket

Ohhhhhhhhhhh blog how i miss you!!!!!!! First off how awesome is my post song i always want to dance around to it (sometimes that does happen in my room). I am so ridiculously behind on outfit posts, i have been shopping quite a bit and literally have TONS of new things i cant wait to show everyone. I am a bit overwhelmed by school stuff and work which hasn't really worked out like i had hoped it is all a bit stressful, i just need to get through May that is what i keep telling myself!! Other news i have gotten addicted to makeup how to's on youtube (totally love these ones here, here, and here) and hair tutorials, some girls have amazing hair. These are some summer inspiration pictures, i am super into lace and crochet, i just bought two crochet tops at Marshalls which i cant wait to wear. I love looking at festivel style pictures and thatis where i found most of these. I am so excited in July I am going to Hillside which is music festival in Guelph, Ontario and i cant wait to see some of the bands playing there!!! I don't know when i cant get out to take photos but hopefully it will be soon i hate not updating :(. Have a great day everyone!!

Fall In by Cloud Nothings on Grooveshark

Shirt: Value Village $6, Shorts: Thrift $.50, Tights: Joe Fresh $6, Purse: Wild Rose, Boots: Spring $13

Super simple outfit, i dunno if it is really blog worthy but it is a good casual outfit that i wear when i am feeling lazy like today :). I love this shirt it is big and i can wear leggings with it, the only problem is it is made of this silk material which is really staticy. Does anyone know how to get of that like a certain brush or something because it is super annoying!!! I found these shorts in a bin at my local thrift store along with another blue denim pair. It was super exciting since they were from H&M and only fifty cents although after trying on my entire shorts collection today i seriously need to lay off the junk food or i wont be fitting into anything once the warmer weather gets here!! The high waisted shorts i wore here which i call my "skinny shorts" i cant even do up anymore and i totally could last month so going out for supper and pigging out chips is at a end for a little while. Does anyone else miss the old blogger layout? I am not much for change and it took me a little while to figure out how to work this one. Also i can't seem to size my photos like i used to so i guess they will just have to be smaller from now on. Thank you everyone for wishing me luck on my interview, you all are just to nice!! It was for a job at a golf course and i think i will be starting in the next few weeks. I also might pick up some waitressing shifts at a restaurant in town so money here i come. I hope everyone is having a good weekend :)

Shirt: Borrowed from my sister, Tank top: Value Village $6, Skirt: Stiches $8, Tights: Joe Fresh $6, Boots: Aldo $80

Oh my goodness i am so tired right now, it is definitely going to be a early night!! I wore this top with a blazer and black skinny jeans to a job interview today which went very well :). I was going to take pics of that outfit but i threw on the tights and skirt just to mix things up a bit since i have been wearing alot of pants lately. I totally love this shirt which i borrowed/stole from my sisters closet this morning. It is just soooooooooo cute i am pretty sure she got it at Winners, i am really into chiffon sheer shirts right now. I have been stalking the Forever 21 website lately and they have so many great ones but i am not allowed to place a order until i have a regualr paycheck again so hopefully in a couple of weeks. Have a good weekend everyone!!

Blazer: Warehouse One $30, Scarf: Spring $15, Tunic: Value Village $4, Purse: Thirft $4, Leather Pants: H&M $30, Doc Martens $140

Hello everyone!!! I am not totally sold on these pictures (especially my squinty first pic lol) but i figured they were better than nothing at all!! It was really cold today so i had to scrap my orginal outfit idea which i will take pictures of very shortly and wore this one. I have worn my leopard print scarf on here twice already but it is my absolute favourite sometimes i wear it almost everyday, definitely money well spent. I bought these H&M pants a while back and the second time i wore them one of the seams ripped so i stitched that up but the next time about three more ripped. I have never had a issue with the quality of H&M clothes before but i am a little peeved off how crappy these pants are. I have fixed all the seams but i am a little wary about wearing them anywhere for to long, knowing my luck the crotch seam would go and i would have a very embarrassing but funny story to share with you. I havent been up to much lately just dropping off lots of resumes trying to find a summer job so fingers crossed everyone. A while back i did a giveaway and the lovely Jessica from the Midwest Muse won my sweater so everyone check out how she wore it cause it looks awesome!! I hope you all had a good evening!!

Denim Inspiration

Gold On The Ceiling by The Black Keys on Grooveshark

Photobucket
Right now as i am typing it is raining and super cold out so this post is a bit of wishful thinking, i want the warmer weather back!!!! I dont know about you but for me, my absolute favourite thing to wear all summer long are denim shorts. They might not be the most flattering with my muscular thighs but they definitely are the most comfortable. I was at my local thrift store and i found two pairs of great denim shorts (one was from H&M) and they were only fifty cents each!!!! Such a good bargain they werent high waisted though so i am going to be on the lookout for some of those. Here are some awesome inspirations pictures and i hope everyone had a good weekend!!

The Skin Of My Yellow Country Teeth

The Skin of My Yellow Country Teeth by Clap Your Hands Say Yeah on Grooveshark

Jacket: Thrift $4, Tank Top: Value Village $6, Jeggings: Value Village: $8, Boots: Value Village $13, Hat: Ardenes $7, Purse: ??? (super old)

Almost a entire thrifted outfit!!!!! I love when that happens and as you can tell from my outfit description i am a very faithful Value Village customer. Although you can totally see the price difference from it and the thrift store in my town which is where i got my jacket from because it is so much cheaper. If someone had told me i would be wearing a cropped jacket of any kind a year ago i would sworn up and down it wasnt going to happen. I am pretty boxy aka no waist so i never found them to be remotely flattering on me but when i was shopping with a friend i found this one and she urged me to try it on. To my surprise i really liked it so always try on things you like but are a bit unsure of because you never know how they might look on!! When i found these jeggings at Value Village i got really excited because they were black and i dont think they had ever been worn before. They fit fine in the change room but the first time i wore them out, i dont have much a bum and they sagged... alot lol. So to fix that i just ripped open one of the seams, cut the elastic smaller and stiched it back up so now they are as good as new :). I just wanted to thank everyone for your lovely comment and I hope you had a great day!!
